With the app, you can scan the vehicle QR code and instantly get decoded results. The app reads the QR data and shows the vehicle details with the 3-digit RPO codes and their descriptions.
Using the app is simple:
You can also use Decode RPO to read the Service Parts Identification label with printed text RPO codes. Just point your camera at the label, and the app will detect the codes and decode them automatically.
This is the fastest way to identify factory options, package contents, and paint information directly from your vehicle label.
QR RPO Decoder is available for any iPhone and Android.
Mopar Sales Codes are factory-assigned identifiers used by Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram to describe vehicle equipment and production configurations. Typically consisting of three alphanumeric characters (such as ERB for a 3.6L V6 engine), these codes identify engines, transmissions, paint colors, interior trims, axle ratios, optional packages, and other factory-installed features.
Each vehicle has its own combination of sales codes, which helps identify how it was originally equipped. The codes are recorded in the vehicle's factory build data and can be used to verify original specifications and equipment.
Unlike GM's RPO system, Mopar does not use a single standardized vehicle label containing every factory option code. The most complete equipment information is generally available through the vehicle's factory build sheet or equipment listing, which can be retrieved using its 17-character VIN.
You may also find equipment information in:
The standard VIN is located at the base of the windshield on the driver's side or on the driver-side door jamb label.
Older Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles may have physical equipment labels or production documents containing factory option codes. Their locations vary considerably by model and production year.
Common places to check include:
Not every vehicle has a physical label containing its complete sales code list. For supported vehicles, a VIN-based equipment lookup is generally the easiest way to identify the original factory configuration.
Decode the factory options of a Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep or Ram vehicle by its 17-character VIN.
The decoder lists the vehicle's factory sales codes with their descriptions, together with the engine, transmission, paint and interior trim it was built with.
To view and print the full factory equipment sheet instead, use the Mopar Dodge Jeep Ram VIN Decoder.
